Welcome to the Puppy Sitter!
My name is Kelli and I used to run a walking or in-home care dog or small animal sitting business, however, due to recent changes in my life I no longer have the ability to run the business in the manner I once did.
At this time I am only able to continue with the in-home portion of the business.
If your dog requires certain medications at certain times, I can be there at these times to provide the care needed. I am available to feed, water, and provide direct care and attention to your dog (or cat!) at pre-determined times during the day when you can't be at home for extended periods, such as a family emergency or vacation situation. This can be much less traumatizing to your pet than an extended stay in a kennel as he or she retains the ability to stay comfortable in their own familiar environment. Please contact me for more information about this service.
I do ask that your dog would have all of the appropriate vaccinations. If at all possible, I prefer that he or she be licensed within the county you reside in and have identification tags attached, but this is not required. These measures help to ensure the safety of your dog, myself, and the other people and pets that we may come in contact with.
About me
Like many people, I am an avid animal lover. Yet I understand that
many people do not always have the time during the day, due to work
schedules or other engagements, to watch and care for their animals. So
I made a decision that I would open a doggy daycare for those of us
with busy schedules who still love their puppies and want them to have
the attention and exercise they deserve. Some of us are lucky to have
dogs that are sweet and laid back and don't really need that much
attention while we're away... and some of us are not!
There is, however, another reason that I plan on opening a doggy
daycare. Canines are very social creatures by nature, and need a lot of
love and attention, but they also need other canine friends. This
interaction helps not only with daily exercise, but will help your dog
become more sociable with other dogs as well, all the while providing
entertainment and enjoyment for your beloved, faithful pet. What ever
the reason, what ever the dog, I just want to provide a space that your
dog, just like your child, could get the love and attention needed
while you are away.
I am NOT a professional dog trainer. However, I AM someone who loves and respects animals. I try and stay informed as best I can about current animal training trends in obedience and human to animal, and animal to animal socialization. All of my information I have researched, either in books or on the internet. I also have a wealth of life experience in dealing with animals and dogs of all types. In my own house, I have 3 dogs, 2 cats and 2 ferrets, but again, I not in anyway a dog trainer, just someone here to help. So there is your disclaimer. ;)
If you have any questions or would like to ask about scheduling
please email me at

needs.

"Kelli was very loving and responsible when she was walking and
occasionally doggie sitting my precious MinPin, Reesy. Reesy is a
little temperamental, but Kelli had no problem in bonding and making
Reesy feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend her for any
doggie situations that arise for anyone. She is a true animal person.
Thanks Kel for everything!" ~ B. Freeman
"Kelli is a very caring individual; she would never leave my pets in
the lurch. My two dogs love her like a second mamma, and she has become
a dear friend to my family. She is honest, kind, reliable and a total
riot to be around. You won't be sorry if you entrust your own
feathered, finned or four-legged friends to her". ~ A. Walker.
My husband and I have a weekly schedule that prevents us from being
home during the day. It is a blessing to have somebody who cares for my
Lucy's needs like Kelli. Lucy loves other animals but has trouble with
strange humans; with Kelli, this was no problem! Lucy loves her!
Thanks, Kelli, for everything! ~ R. Blake
